Shehbaz Sharif summons cabinet meeting to discuss country situations
Prime Minister Shehbaz Monday summoned a cabinet meeting to discuss the country’s political and economic situation, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The meeting will be held tomorrow and Finance Minister Ishaq Dar will brief the cabinet about the economic situation and Minister of Energy Khurram Dastgir brief about the nationwide electricity breakdown.
A six-point agenda of the cabinet meeting was released which stated the presentation of a report on Tosha Khana in the federal cabinet and a revised policy regarding Tosha Khana will be presented for approval.
A media campaign related to the energy saving plan will be presented to the cabinet for approval.
Moreover, the board of Investment regulatory rules and guidelines will also be submitted for approval.
Economic Coordination Committees decisions on January 3rd and 11th will be presented for approval.
Decisions of the Legislation Committee for the 6th of January will be presented to the Cabinet for approval and the matter related to the implementation of the orders of the Islamabad High Court in the Imtiaz Bibi case will be presented in the cabinet.
