Veteran Bollywood actress Urmila Matondkar on Tuesday joined the Congress's Bharat Jodo Yatra in Jammu and Kashmir.

Rahul Gandhi is leading the foot march, which was set to conclude very soon.

The march was started in September and many renowned stars participated in the grand old party's foot march last.

Actors, including Pooja Bhatt, former RBI governor Raghuram Rajan, and veteran army officers were also the part of the march.

In Delhi, Kamal Haasan joined the foot march last month.

Urmila took to her social platform Twitter and shared her video along with Rahul Gandhi during walk.

“Walk for Unity, Affinity, Equality and Fraternity”, she tweeted.

Before the march, she posted a video in which she was saying: “In this winter chill, I am addressing you from Jammu. In a short while from now, I will be joining the Yatra. Indian unity is the spirit that has been carried along during this Yatra. All of us have created this India and we have to help it grow. For me, this Yatra is more for society than politics. The world is functional with love not hate.”

Urmila Matondkar showed up in many Bollywood top films with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan. She by her hard work and stellar performances got famous in the Indian film industry.

Some of her hit movies are: ‘Chamatkar’, ‘Bhoot’, ‘Judaai’, ‘Rangeela’ and ‘Ek Hasina Thi’.
