A van driver crushed his rival to death to avenge the defeat in a cockfight in Kabirwala, reported 24News HD TV channel on Saturday.

Van driver Raiz Sahoo hit Muhammad Akbar, a flower seller in front of Abdul Hakeem Town Committee, Kabirwala. The police registered a case against two accused and with the help of CCTV footage, held the prime accused. The accused confessed his crime in police custody.

The police said that the accused wanted to buy the winner rooster and on denial, he hit Muhammad Akbar. The police further said that the accused did not have a driving license as well. Further investigations are underway.
