An important consultation of the ruling Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) leadership and party’s supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif has directed the leadership to adopt a ‘Resistance Narrative’ rather than the expedient policy in the current political situation in the country.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, PML-N supremo Mian Nawaz Sharif has also decided to change the organizational structure and positions after the Punjab by-election results.
The channel report said that Mian Nawaz Sharif has taken a decision to give important responsibilities to his daughter and party’s vice president Maryam Nawaz Sharif.
As per the sources, Maryam Nawaz will be given special tasks to prepare the party for the next elections and mobilize the workers.
The sources said that in the consolation meeting, Nawaz Sharif told the leaders that his narrative was adopted by other parties and succeeded to get better results.
Muslim League leadership in the meeting suggested that if they want to organize the party, they have to come to the front food and play political games.
In the meeting, Nawaz Sharif appreciated the statements of Maulana Fazlur Rehman and directed the League leaders to listen to him.
