FJMU VC Prof Dr Khalid Masood Gondal visits Govt Teaching Hospital Shahdara
Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Khalid Masood Gondal had a detailed visit to Government Teaching Hospital Shahdara, which is affiliated with Fatima Jinnah Medical University.
He inspected various departments including Emergency Department, different wards, Gynaecology, Surgery, Medicine, Orthopaedics, CT Scan, and Pharmacy. He inquired about the well-being of patients and assessed the availability of medical facilities.
Dr Mamoon Akbar Qureshi, Medical Superintendent of Government Teaching Hospital Shahdara, gave a detailed briefing to the Vice Chancellor during the visit.
The Vice Chancellor also visited the Paramedical School and Nursing College and spoke with the nursing students. He had a meeting with the heads of various departments which was also attended by Prof Qamar Ashfaq, Prof of Surgery, FJMU along with four Associate Professors: Dr Shabbir Chohan, Dr Hina Zamir, Dr Waqas Javed, and Dr Sofia Iqbal.
In this meeting, Vice-Chancellor Prof Khalid Masood Gondal emphasized the importance of quality teaching and training. He expressed his commitment to providing the best public health facilities at Government Teaching Hospital Shahdara, following the vision of the Honorable Chief Minister of Punjab and the Government of Punjab.
On this occasion, Vice Chancellor Prof Khalid Masood Gondal also discussed issues related to postgraduate students and suggested solutions.
