FESCO intensifies QR registration campaign across region

Faisalabad Electric Supply Company (FESCO) has intensified its QR code registration campaign for eligible electricity consumers to ensure the continuation of government subsidies, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.

A FESCO spokesperson said around 2.313 million protected consumers have completed the registration process, while more than 1.838 million eligible consumers have yet to register.

According to FESCO, consumers are required to complete QR registration by scanning the QR code printed on their electricity bills. The spokesperson warned that consumers who failed to complete the registration process may face difficulties in receiving future government subsidies.

The spokesperson added that the QR registration system will help prevent misuse of subsidies and ensure that financial assistance reaches the intended beneficiaries directly. 

FESCO advised consumers to verify their identity only through the QR code available on their electricity bills and avoid sharing personal information on fake websites, suspicious links or unverified platforms.
