One killed, another injured in Mianwali goat theft dispute

One person was killed and another seriously injured in a firing incident reportedly triggered by a dispute over the theft of a goat in Bani Afghan, on the outskirts of Kalabagh.

The incident took place in the Kach Tandar Khel area, where an argument over the alleged theft escalated into gunfire.

Police reached the scene after receiving information about the incident, collected evidence and launched an investigation.

The injured person was shifted to the District Headquarters Hospital, Mianwali, for treatment. Police said further investigation was underway.
