Seven more Lahore localities to be sealed for a week

The Punjab government has decided to completely seal seven more areas of Lahore after a cluster of cases emerged, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Addressing a news conference in Lahore on Wednesday, Punjab Health Minister Yasmin Rashid said that areas being sealed included Garden Town, Model Town, Gulberg, Gulshan-e-Ravi, DHA, Faisal Town and Walled City.
Yasmin Rashid said 50 percent beds and 60 ventilators are empty in the hospitals. “Thank God the situation is still under control,” the minister said.
She said many people have recovered and returned to their home.
Yasmin Rashid said more coronavirus cases were reported in Lahore and Rawalpindi and the government has taken steps to deal with Covid-19 pandemic.
During the news briefing, she also commented on the Muhammad Hafeez COVID-19 test result that came back negative from a private laboratory.

She said, "There is a 30 to 40 percent chances of false negative test, while very rare chances of false positive result. So people with false negative COVID-19 results should take precautionary measures."
