Pakistani actress and model Veena Malik has decided to take a ‘long’ break from social media. The actress announced her decision on Twitter Wednesday.

Taking to Twitter, she wrote: “I have quit social media for an indefinite period. Allah Hafiz,” said Veena.

The growing toxicity on social media has compelled many celebrities to quit social media.

Earlier, actress Veena Malik said that Turkish drama Ertugrul Ghazi has buried the slogan of “My body, my choice”.

The actress said Ertugrul is becoming more popular in Pakistan than Turkey, which proves that the thinking and choice of the Pakistani people are still in accordance with Islamic traditions.

This drama has slogan “My body, my choice”, she added. Veena Malik further said that if we want to save the Pakistani showbiz industry from destruction, then Western culture has to be abandoned.”
