A man shot to death his sister and sister-in-law over a matrimony issue with his sister in Sultanpur village, Chak 342 WB, in Dunyapur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday. 

Reportedly, accused Shahid was unhappy over the marriage of his sister Kausar, aged 25, whose husband works abroad.

On the day of the incident, the accused entered the house in the night when Kausar and their sister-in-law Zarina (45), whose husband also worked abroad, were sleeping. 

Accused Shahid was armed with a gun. When he pulled out his weapon and aimed it at his sister, Zarina came to Kausar’s rescue. The accused opened fire and killed both of them. 

Murderer Shahid did not want his sister to get married to a resident of Dunyapur. He resented her marriage to him and in his anger killed his sister and sister-in-law who intervened to save Kausar.

Police took both the bodies in their possession and shifted them to THQ Hospital. 

The police would start their investigation after the completion of post-mortem.
