Pakistani actress Saboor Aly and actor Ali Ansari have gotten engaged a while back which is no secret to the general population as the ‘baat-pakki’ was received with massive love by the netizen community.

However during the whole engagement bliss, there was also a controversy taking place which was directly linked to the controversial host of the nation, Aamir Liaquat.

Right before the ‘baat-pakki’ Saboor and Ali had been spotted at one of the shows that Mr. Liaquat was hosting.

Even though at that particular time, there were no news being regulated related to any kind of romantic relationship between Saboor and Ali, the baba of the nation (Aamir Liaquat) revealed his doubts about the duo being involved.

During a conversation with Burak Shabbir on BBC Urdu, Saboor revealed that there was nothing even remotely romantic between the now engaged couple when they made an appearance at Aamir Liaquat’s show.

Saboor revealed that the engagement was a surprise even for both Ali and the actress.

As they had not planned on tying the knot.

Saboor said, “Ali’s sister Mariam Ansari is a really good friend of mine. Sajal and I have also done a project with Ali Ansari and we used to discuss a lot of our life matters with each other. Mariam always used to say that, “I want to find a nice girl for my brother” and I have suggested many girls to Ali also Mariam has many times asked me to get married to his brother then Mariam talked to my sister about it. Sajal also wanted me to get married to Ali and they convinced us to talk to each other and decide.”

Saboor decided to approach the situation with a very impatient mindset.

She talked to Ali and declared how she doesn’t want to delay getting hitched and she would like to get done with the formalities right away otherwise Saboor had no intention of pursuing the engagement.

Little did Saboor know that Ali was maybe waiting for this exact very moment?

He readily agreed and their Baat Pakki took place with Saboor having no clue what she was going to wear.

Well that’s a disaster!

The pictures of Saboor and Ali’s event which we saw doing rounds on social media was arranged in one single day!

Saboor further mentioned, “All the preparations for our Baat Pakki were done in a single day and before they came I asked Ali to think if he really wants to make it official because I was so scared but now I feel so lucky.”
