On the use of some insulting words against the Chair in the budget session of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly, the Deputy Speaker ousted the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) Spokesperson Ikhtiar Wali from the House on Friday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the KP Assembly on Friday passed the provincial budget for the fiscal year 2022-23 as the opposition withdrew all his cut motions in the proposed Demands of Grants of the government.
Addressing the assembly, KP Chief Minister Mehmood Khan congratulated the House for passing the budget and announced minimum wages of Rs26,000 in the province.
Meanwhile, the PML-N-backed MPA Ikhtiar Wali made an uproar and tried to interrupt the CM's speech by saying that the Deputy Speaker is running the house like a ‘Munchi’ (personal assistant) of Mehmood Khan.
On this, the Deputy Speaker ousted the MPA from the house by sending a Sergeant At Arms and imposed a two days ban on him to attend the assembly session.
Earlier, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly approved a budget of Rs1,332 billion.
