Afghans allowed to cross Torkham border by showing Tazkira for Eid

A large number of passengers have been allowed to leave for their home country Afghanistan to celebrate Eid Ul Adha after showing their official identity card Tazkira.

 According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, the Pakistan authorities allowed Afghan people to cross the Torkham border for a limited time period till June 29.

According to media reports, scores of returning Afghans got stranded at the Torkham border as the authorities refused to allow them to go back to their country without their passport and visa.

However, the Pakistani authorities allowed the Afghan people to go to Afghanistan on Tazkira from today at the Landi Kotal Torkham border to celebrate Eid Ul Adha.

According to the Immigration authorities, the clearance process has been started on Friday and Afghan passengers can go homeland from Torkham Border between 7 am to 9 pm.
