CM Naqvi inquires after patients at Children Hospital Multan

Punjab Chief Minister Mohsin Naqvi on Friday visited the Children’s Hospital Multan to review medical facilities being provided to patients, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel.

The Chief Minister visited the patients under treatment in various wards and reviewed the treatment facilities.

Mohsin Naqvi inquired about the treatment facilities from the relatives of the children admitted to the emergency ward.

CM was annoyed at the grim situation of the emergency unit as four children were being treated at each bed in the department.

On inquiry, the doctors complained about the lack of medical facilities.

Mohsin Naqvi ordered to increase in the number of beds in the emergency of the children's hospital so that every sick child should be treated in a separate bed.

Mohsen Naqvi directed the authorities to improve the medical facilities in the hospital.

Later, Naqvi inspected the waiting area for the attendants and passed instructions to install fans and air coolers in the waiting rooms.

Mohsin Naqvi also spent some time with the attendants in the waiting area and listened to their problems and gave instructions for their address.

He said people accompanying patients should be provided with better facilities in the waiting rooms.

He said the government will ensure the provision of modern facilities for the treatment of children in the hospital under public-private partnership.
