Lahore police arrest PTI leader Jamshed Cheema

The Lahore police have arrested PTI leader Jamshed Cheema in Lahore on Friday for his involvement in May 9 violent incidents, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Police officials confided to the TV channel that the PTI leader was taken into custody for taking part in May 9 violence.

The court had issued non-bailable warrants of Jamshed Cheema.

It may be mentioned here that Jamshed Cheema along with his wife Musarrat Cheema had announced to quit PTI while regretting May 9 riots about a month ago.
