Aroun Finch praises Babar, Shaheen, and Rizwan ahead of BBL

Former Australian cricket captain Aaron Finch has lauded the inclusion of top Pakistani cricketers in the upcoming season of the Big Bash League (BBL), stating that their participation will offer local players a valuable opportunity to compete against some of the best talent in the world.

Speaking to the media, Finch expressed his enthusiasm for seeing players like Babar Azam, Shaheen Shah Afridi, and Mohammad Rizwan feature in the BBL, calling them "world-class" athletes whose presence will elevate the league’s standard and competitiveness.

Recalling his own experience, Finch highlighted Afridi’s impact, stating: “Shaheen Shah Afridi has dismissed me twice during my career.”

He also lauded Azam’s batting skills, saying that the former Pakistan skipper plays with elegance rather than relying solely on power.

Additionally, Finch welcomed Rizwan’s participation in the forthcoming BBL.
