TikToker Sana Yousuf murder case: Accused 'confesses' to his crime

Omar Hayat, the prime suspect in the murder case of TikToker Sana Yousuf, has allegedly confessed to the crime he recently committed, reported 24NewsHD TV on Tuesday.

According to officials, accused Omar Hayat recorded a statement under Section 164 before Magistrate Saad Nazir.

The accused said he killed Sana Yousuf when she refused to meet him. Omar stated that he had contacted Sana for the first time for a meeting and waited for her the entire day, but she never came to see him.

“I brought a birthday gift for Sana Yousuf, but she did not accept it,” he said. 

He also claimed that Sana asked him to go back, which upset him deeply.

He said that he called Sana in June for a meeting again, but she did not meet.

“I was extremely hurt by her refusal to meet me,” Omar said.

"I got angry and went to Sana Yousuf's house and killed her due to her repeated refusal to meet me," he added.
