Pakistani actor Imran Abbas has made an impassioned appeal to authorities, urging them to take decisive action against perpetrators of sexual violence and crimes against children following the brutal murder of a young girl.
Taking to Instagram, the actor shared an emotional video in which he expressed grief and outrage over the incident involving a child who had reportedly gone to a nearby store, trusting the shopkeeper as someone familiar and harmless, only to be allegedly subjected to hours of sexual abuse before being killed.
Imran lamented that the tragedy was not an isolated case, noting that Pakistan has witnessed countless incidents of child abuse, rape, murder, acid attacks, and other forms of violence for years. He stressed that such crimes are not confined to one gender, highlighting that women, children, and even men have fallen victim to abuse and brutality.
The actor urged the government, law enforcement agencies, and policymakers to introduce and implement stricter laws without delay. He advocated for swift and exemplary punishments that would serve as a powerful deterrent and discourage potential offenders from committing similar crimes.
Imran also rejected victim-blaming narratives, emphasizing that innocent children cannot be held responsible for crimes committed against them. He called for greater efforts to instill respect, compassion, and an understanding of human dignity from an early age, questioning why societal values and moral conduct are often neglected despite educational achievements.

“With a heavy and grieving heart, I appeal to my government, the Chief Minister of Punjab, the chief ministers of all provinces, law enforcement agencies, and all those in positions of authority to ensure that the perpetrators of such heinous and barbaric crimes receive swift and exemplary punishment,” he wrote in the caption accompanying the video.

He further stated that such penalties should send a clear message that there is no place for such evil in society and urged authorities to act immediately, warning that the growing prevalence of violence against vulnerable individuals can no longer be ignored.
