The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) Lahore has arrested a man on charges of sexual harassment and blackmailing a woman, the 24newsHD TV channel reported on Friday.  

According to the FIA spokesperson the accused identified as Afaq Sarwar was captured by the cybercrime circle from Lahore on a complaint from a woman. The accused was harassing the complainant for the past several months. 

FIA officials said the man was forcing the woman for immoral activities live on social media. He said that the FIA investigators have also recovered scores of WhatsApp, and Facebook accounts, threatening messages, and objectionable materials from the mobile phone of the accused against whom a case was also registered. He shared objectionable photos and videos of the woman. Objectionable videos of the complainant have been recovered from the mobile phone of the accused.

The accused first lured the woman into making unethical videos and then started blackmailing her that he would upload them on social media or share it with his friends. 

A case was registered against the accused under PICA Act.

Further investigation is underway.
