In a major development into the investigation of weapons recovered from Zaman Park during raid, police claimed that the seized arms were illegal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel. 

Police claimed that they recovered 13 SMGs, 7 Kalashnikovs, and 340 bullets during their Zaman Park raid. But it has been revealed that all the firearms were illegal and without licence.

Police said they sent the recovered weapons for their forensic analysis to get the information in which activities these arms had been used. 

They suspected that PTI activist Muazzam who was shot dead during Wazirabad long march was killed by the same firearms found during the Zaman Park raid. 

Police said that the final results would be revealed after the completion of forensic analysis.
