7 killed, several injured over land dispute in Nawab Shah

At least 7 people were killed and several others got injured during a clash between two groups of Dehri tribe over agriculture land in a remote village of Nawab Shah district in Sindh.

According to the local police, the incident occurred in Nawab Shah’s nearby village Wahid Bukhsh Dehri.

The deceased were identified as Abdul Nabi Dehri, Ghulam Qadir Dehri, Dilsher Dehri, Hassan Dehri, Haider Dehri, Sethiar Dehri, Saindad Dehri and Hanif Shahi.

The deceased and the injured were shifted to Peoples Medical Hospital in Nawab Shah. Police reached the site and mediated between the two tribes.
