Toeing the line of the country’s leading motorbike manufacturers, the local motorcycle companies have also raised the prices of their models from Rs3,000 to Rs15,000, reported 24NewsHD TV channel pm on Tuesday.

There was an increase of Rs3,000 in the prices of 70cc motorcycles of Metro, Unique and Super Star brands. These companies have issued their circulars about the new prices.

The rate of New Asia cargo loader rickshaw and Road Prince cargo loader 100-125cc rose by Rs5,000 each.

The Road Prince cargo loader 150cc is expensive by Rs10,000 and Road Prince loader 200cc is now dearer by Rs15,000.

Road Prince rickshaw 200cc will now also cost Rs10,000 more.

The Road Prince company also issued a circular, saying the new prices will be effective from June 1.
