Observing the insecurity on the national highways during the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Long March, oil companies halted the supply of petrol and diesel to Lahore on Tuesday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the Pakistan Petroleum Dealers Association (PPDA) has said that the oil companies have cut off supplies due to a lack of security clearance on highways.
The PPDA Secretary Information Jahanzeb Malik has said that Lahore has only 2 to 3 days' stock of petrol and diesel as the PTI’s Long Mach on May 25 has created uncertainty.
