Pakistan's retaliatory strikes shocked India: AJK President Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry

The Azad Jammu and Kashmir President, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry, said on Saturday that Pakistan’s armed forces gave a befitting response to the Indian aggression and crushed its war madness.

Talking to a delegation led by Mirpur District Council Chairman Raja Naveed Akhtar Goga at Kashmir House in Islamabad, Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry said that India violated Pakistan’s borders and committed war aggression. He paid tribute to the Pakistan forces. He said that India was a coward enemy who attacked Pakistan in the darkness of night and martyred innocent people.

Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry that India was shocked by Pakistan’s retaliatory strikes therefore it started bombing civilian population on the Line of Control, resulting in damage to civilian property and martyrdom of innocent people.

He said that India faced a crushing defeat in the retaliatory action by the Pakistan Army and Pakistan Air Force. He said the Modi government was currently facing defeat within its own country.

Indian people, he said, were demanding the resignation of Narendra Modi after India’s defeat in the war against Pakistan. He said that India has now come to a defensive position.

“We all have to play our role in resolving the Kashmir dispute and exposing Indian aggression to the world, above all political affiliations,” he said.

The AJK president said the offer of mediation on the Kashmir dispute by US President Donald Trump was a welcome move. Due to the offer of mediation by the US president, he said, the Kashmir dispute has once again been highlighted at the international level and it has grabbed the attention of the international community.

“Therefore, all of us, especially overseas Kashmiris, will have to get ready to resolve the Kashmir dispute and expose Indian war aggression so that the heinous intentions of Modi can be exposed to the world,” he added.
