Woman beaten to death by husband in Lahore’s Sundar Area

A woman was allegedly beaten to death by her husband in Lahore’s Sundar area, 24NewsHD TV reported on Sunday. 

According to police, the suspect, identified as Shehbaz, attacked his wife, Tahira, with bricks during a violent altercation at their residence.

Police said officers reached the scene after receiving information about the incident and found the woman lying in a pool of blood with critical injuries.

The accused attempted to flee but was arrested by police at the scene, officials said.

Tahira later succumbed to her injuries despite efforts to save her, police added.

Police said an inquiry had been launched against the suspect.
