A man named Nadeem was injured as a result of an armed clash between two rival groups in the emergency ward of General Hospital in Lahore, reported 24NrewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

The firing incident occurred late Monday night that spread fear and chaos among the patients and their attendees in the hospital while the assailants managed to flee the scene, the TV channel reported.

Doctors and paramedical staff saved their lives by running away from the battlefield. Later, contingents of police reached the spot and started an investigation into what has really happened.

It was apparently seemed an enmity issue which led the two groups to not even spare the emergency ward of a busy Lahore hospital.
