Assistant Sub Inspector (ASI) Muhammad Bakhsh Buriro who got fame in Ali Shah rape case transferred to Central Police Karachi in CPO Training Branch from Kashmore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

Earlier, a ceremony was held in honour of Muhammad Buksh Buriro at the Central Police Center in which the Inspector General of Sindh and other top brass of the police force paid tribute to him for his heroic act.

Muhammad Bakhsh used his own daughter as a ploy to save someone’s abducted daughter and endangered his daughter’s honour and life. Prime Minister Imran Khan telephoned the hero ASI and appreciated him for such an act of bravery.

IGP Mushtaq Ahmed Mahar announced a reward of Rs2 million for the ASI and his daughter. The police chief requested that the government give Sitara-e-Shujaat to Buriro and Sitara-e-Imtiaz to his daughter Reshma for their gallantry and intelligence that resulted in the arrest of the prime suspect of the Kashmore rape case.
