Communications Minister Murad Saeed and Prime Minister spokesperson Nadeem Afzal Chan exchanged words on the matter of mismanagement at Faisalabad Toll Plaza during the proceedings of the federal cabinet on Tuesday.

Chan’s strong criticism of mismanagement at the toll plaza of Faisalabad district of Punjab drew ire of Murad who is from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.

“Don’t pass remarks if you have no knowledge,” the communications minister told the PM spokesperson when Chan remarked: “Motorists have to wait for long because of mismanagement at Faisalabad Toll Plaza.  As soon as they flew into a rage, Prime Minister Imran Khan intervened and restrained them from furthering the war of words.

Reportedly the premier headed the meeting to mull over measures to stem the spread of Covid-19. Addressing the previous meeting, Imran Khan stressed the need for showing seriousness to cope with the challenge of coronavirus resurgence in wake of the second wave of the pandemic.
