Science Ministry to introduce game-changer video games, says Fawad

Federal Minister for Science and Technology Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has now announced big news for lackadaisical students who do not show interest in studying as they will get the opportunity to get certifications in animations and video games to be part of an industry worth billions of dollars.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Fawad said, “If you are not interested in reading and are more interested in video games on the phone, be prepared. The Ministry of Science and Technology is bringing a special programme of video games so that we can be a part of this $90 billion industry.”

The minister said to become part of the $90 billion industry, the youth will get training in animation and video games certification programmes and that will be a game-changer for the young people.
According to estimates from PricewaterhouseCoopers, video game design is a massive global industry that was worth $90 billion in 2020.
It may be mentioned that the gaming industry in Pakistan is small and mainly driven by gaming studios however, the local industry has received certain levels of recognition and success.
