Highwaymen snatched three brand-new double-cabin vehicles from a car carrier truck near Hala in Sindh while going from Karachi to Peshawar on Wednesday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The dacoits off-loaded the cars and fled away with them while holding the lorry staff hostage. Later, they dropped the staff near Khairpur. The driver and other helping staff of the truck were later found from Matiari.

This type of snatching from a car-carrying truck is the second incident in the week.

Imdad Hussain Naqvi from All Pakistan Car Carrier Association condemned the incident showing their concerns on the increasing number of such incidents.
