Outgoing Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza on Thursday paid a farewell call on Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif at PM Office in Islamabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Shehbaz Sharif commended General Nadeem Raza's services for the institution of the Army and further strengthening the country's defence.

The prime minister said said the nation is proud of General Nadeem’s services for the country.

He also expressed his best wishes for the outgoing chairman JCSC.

It may be mentioned here that earlier in the day the prime minister has picked Lt-Gen Sahir Shamshad Mirza as the new chairman JCSC to replace General Nadeem Raza.
