IMF team of experts to visit Pakistan next week

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has decided to send another mission to Pakistan next week, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to sources, the IMF is sending a team of experts which will hold a string of meetings with Finance Ministry and Federal Bureau of Revenue (FBR) officials.

Both sides, as per the sources, will lay their focus on issues relating to expanding the tax net and generating more revenue.

The IMF teal will also coordinate with the FBR officials on tax police.

The IMF experts with extend technical help for improvement in tax policy and its enforcement, the sourced added.
