Pakistani players make strong start on Day 1 of CAS International Squash Championship 

The first day of the CAS‑Serena Hotels International Squash Championship 2025 wrapped up at the Mushaf Squash Complex in Islamabad, with Pakistani players making a strong start.

Hamza Khan, Muhammad Ammad, Anas Shah, and Nasir Iqbal secured victories in their opening round matches, advancing to the second round.

Tayyab Aslam, however, suffered a straight-game defeat.

Meanwhile, Noor Zaman and Muhammad Asim Khan, who received first-round byes, are scheduled to play their second-round matches tomorrow.

The championship continues tomorrow with the second-round matches, where Pakistan’s top talents will aim to maintain their winning momentum.
