 T20 World Cup: Pakistan celebrates 10-wicket thumping victory against India 

Pakistan has thumped India for a 10-wicket trouncing to clinch the first T20 victory in a mega event, the 24News HD TV channel reported on Sunday.

Pakistan hammered India flawlessly, while successfully chasing down a 152 runs target in the fourth match of T20 World Cup Super-12 stage played in Dubai Sports City (DSC).

Giving his best, Pakistani fast bowler Shaheen Afridi sent back both the openers Rohit Sharma and KL Rahul to the dressing room. Rohit went for duck while KL managed to score three runs only.

Suryakumar Yadav walked back to the pavilion on 11 (8).Rishabh Pant departed on 39 off 30 balls. Ravindra Jadeja was dismissed on 13 off 13 balls by Hassan Ali. Kohli got out on 57 off 49 balls on Shaheen’s delivery. Hardik Pandya was dismissed by Haris Rauf on 11 runs off 8 balls. After completing their innings; India has managed to score 151/7.Bhuvneshwar Kumar unbeaten on 5 off 4.

Left-arm pacer Shaheen Shah Afridi, completed four over and bagged three wickets by conceding 31 runs. Hasan Ali took two wickets. Shadab Khan and Haris Rauf grabbed one wicket each. Pakistan started their first innings sound and securely.

Skipper Babar Azam and Muhammad Rizwan remain unbeaten as Babar scored blistering 68 runs off 52 balls and Muhammad Rizwan scored flawless 79 runs off 55 balls. Chakravarthy conceded 33 runs in 4 overs. The “Men in Green” completed their equation in 18th over.

Ravindra Jadeja remained wicket-less and completed his bowling spell by giving 28 runs in 4 overs. Pakistan skipper Babar Azam won the toss and elected to field.  Indian skipper Virat Kohli after losing the toss returned to the pavilion to field his opening batsmen. 

Pakistani squad is comprised Babar Azam (c), Muhammad Rizwan, Fakhar Zaman, Muhammad Hafeez, Shoaib Malik, Imad Wasim, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Hasan Ali, Haris Rauf, and Shaheen Shah Afridi. 

The Indian side included Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul, Rishabh Pant (WK), Suryakumar Yadav, Ravindra Jadeja, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Jasprit Bumrah, Mohammad Shami, Hardik Pandya, and Varun Chakravarthy. 

Federal Information Minister Fawad Ch wished and cheered the team Pakistan , he was present in the stadium. Many Pakistani and Indian celebrities including Preity Zinta, Akhsay Kumar also watched the high-voltage battle between India and Pakistan in DSC.
