Imran Khan demands judicial investigation into murder of Arshad Sharif

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan Monday expressed his shock and grief over the murder of senior journalist Arshad Sharif in Kenya and demanded judicial investigations into the incident, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Imran Khan tweeted: “I am shocked at the brutal murder of Arshad Sharif who paid the ultimate price for speaking the truth–his life.”
He added: “Arshad Sharif had to leave the country and go into hiding abroad, but he continued to speak the truth on social media, exposing the powerful. Today, the entire nation mourns his death.”

He demanded: “A proper judicial investigation must be instituted to examine his own statements plus the evidence that other sources have.”
He lamented: “We have descended into a state of brutality, unknown in civilised society, indulged in by the powerful against those who dare to criticise and expose wrongdoings.”
