Amir Khan is a thief, claims film maker Abhinav Kashyap
Film maker Abhinav Kashyap, the brother of director Anurag Kashyap, has launched a fresh tirade against Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, calling him a “thief” and a “manipulator.”
The filmmaker also mocked Aamir’s height and questioned his much-celebrated ‘perfectionist’ image.
In a recent conversation with Bollywood Thikana, Abhinav accused Aamir of maintaining tight control over his projects and manipulating filmmakers behind the scenes.
“Woh sabse chaalaak lomdi hai... Salman se bhi chhota hai height mein, lekin kya manipulative aadmi hai. Aur sabse shaatir chor hai,” he said, claiming he had worked with the actor on two to three advertisements.
Abhinav alleged Aamir doesn’t know how to act and drains his team with excessive retakes and constant interference.
“He interferes in everything – editing, direction, everything. It’s an entire ecosystem maintained for strict control,” the filmmaker added.
Abhinav claimed Aamir started a culture in Bollywood where actors dominate and manipulate directors. “He works through very powerful people,” he said, adding that the Dangal star has “trapped” some of the industry’s most respected creative minds. “Rajkumar Hirani is a strong filmmaker and should move on to work with others. But he still goes to Aamir. What is in this dwarf that others lack?”
The Dabangg director further accused Aamir of failing to give back to society despite his commercial success. “During floods, what has Aamir Khan done? His biggest hit is Dangal, which earned over 2000 crore rupees from China.”
Abhinav also claimed that the actor declined wrestler Mahavir Phogat’s reported request to open a wrestling academy in Haryana, despite Dangal being based on Phogat’s life.
This latest outburst comes after Abhinav’s earlier feuds with Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, continuing his pattern of outspoken criticism toward Bollywood’s biggest stars.
