7 policemen injured as medical students protest turns violent in Quetta

A clash between police and protesting medical students was observed at the court road in which as many as seven policemen including some females injured.
According to the 24 News HD TV Channel, the medical students on the second consecutive day (Friday) held a protest against the Pakistan Medical Commission’s (PMC) decision of online entry tests results.
When the police forcefully tried to disperse them, the protest turned violent and students injured at least seven policemen and lady police officers.
During hurling the stones from students, the window glasses of some police vehicles were also broken and police officials saved their lives by escaping from the spot.
The charged protesting students also chanted slogans against the PMC carrying different placards in their hands. They also demanded the release of the 75 students detained in yesterday protest.
The protesting students said conducting the entry test online was unfair because mostly the medical students had no access to internet services at home.
Due to the protest, traffic was also badly affected
