Former prime minister and Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan will deliver a ‘crucial’ address at the party’s power show going to be held in Rahimyar Khan today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

On the other hand, preparations are complete for showing PTI chairman’s address to thousands of people, who will be protesting in different small and big cities of the country against all-time high inflation and worst economic crisis live on TV screens.

People will gather at Islamabad’s F-9 Park to listen to the former prime minister’s speech.

Similarly, there will be gatherings at Karachi’s Mangal Bazaar at University Road in Gulshan-e-Iqbal; Lahore’s Liberty Chowk; Peshawar Press Club, Sialkot’s Paris Chowk; Jhelum’s Shandar Chowk, Kasur’s railway crossing, Mandi Bahauddin’s Press Club, Chakwal’s Bhoon Chowk, Hafizabad’s Fawara Chowk, Multan’s Insaf Chowk at Chungi No 9, Nankana’s Barri wala Chowkand Layyah’s Adda Chowk.  

Similar arrangements have been made in other cities as well.  

PPP leaders say katcha dacoits pressuring them to attend PTI rally in RY Khan 

Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) leaders and workers in Rahim Yar Khan once again complained on Saturday that dacoits hiding in katcha area in the vicinity of the city are constantly warning them of adverse consequences in case they do not switch their loyalties and join the PTI, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.  

Mumtaz Chang, PPP member of the Punjab Assembly (MPA), said that dacoits continued to hold sway in the katcha area.   

Not only that, Chang alleged, these outlaws were also pressuring him and other politicians belonging to PPP to participate in PTI’s public gathering to be held in Rahim Yar Khan today.

A few days ago, 24News had reported that PPP workers and leaders were being threatened by katcha dacoits to leave the party and join the PTI.

PTI to celebrate Ashra Rehmatulil Alameen with religious fervour

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) has decided to celebrate the first 10 days of the holy month of Rabiul Awwal as Ashra Rehmatulil Alameen with religious zeal and fervor, both at the party and government levels, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday. 

The decision was taken at former federal minister and senior party leader Noorul Haq Qadri and Naat Khawan Najam Shiraz’s meeting with PTI Chairman Imran Khan at his Bani Gala residence in Islamabad at which discussion was held in detail as how to celebrate the first Ashra of Rabiul Awwal, which reminds us of the birth of our holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), in a befitting manner.   

It was agreed at the meeting that the PTI governments in Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan (GB) will draw up a detailed plan for the purpose. 

It was also decided that programmes would be held not only at governmental level but also at the party level to celebrate the occasion. 

In this connection, the main function will be held in Islamabad, which will be addressed by Imran Khan.
