WB likely to give 2 billion for flood victims

The World Bank is considering providing funds of two billion dollars to Pakistan immediately for the rehabilitation and reconstruction of the flood survivors.
According to the 24NewsHD TV Channel, the World Bank is considering the funds to deal with the risks of climate change.
The World Bank will provide funds to the flood victims under urgent measures. These will be spent for food, health, ration, tents, medicine and cash for the people of flood-hit areas.
On his return after visiting flood-hit areas, World Bank South Asia Region Vice President Martin Reiser said that Pakistan is among the top 10 countries in the world affected by climate risks.
