PUBG-crazy boy awarded 100-year jail for killing family

A district and sessions court on Wednesday awarded 100-year imprisonment and imposed Rs4 million fine on an accused who murdered his mother, brother, and two sisters while playing PUBG game in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The tragic incident was occurred in Kahna area of Lahore.

Pronouncing his verdict, Judge Riaz Ahmad remarked: “Accused Zain was 18 years old when he shot dead his mother, brother, and sisters, so he is being awarded a jail term of 100 years.”

The accused lost his mind and became dangerous while playing PUBG game online and decided to shoot his mother, Naheed Mubarak, brother Taimoor 21, sisters Muneed 16, and Jannat 8.

The prosecutor Habibur Rehman produced two witnesses in the case. The accused opened fire on his family at 2 am. The case was registered against the accused in 2022.

The sessions court verdict attracted a large number of people.
