The Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leaders Monday condemned the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) alleged organized campaign on social media against Pakistan Army.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the PPP leaders Faisal Karim Kundi and Nadeem Afzal Chan held a press conference against the PTI’s act in Islamabad.

Faisal Kundi said Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mehmood Khan and Inspector General (IG) Police are involved in making MPA Faisal Zaman escape from the MPA hostel.

He said a case should be registered against both the authorities on this crime as well as Imran Khan should also be trialled under Article 6 for violating the constitution.

The PPP leader told the media persons that Imran Khan's friends had contacted the PPP and requested not to support Shahbaz Sharif the Prime Minister but they have replied “Absolutely Not”.

Nadeem Afzal Chan condemned the PTI’s attacks on ECP on social media and said all political parties except PTI stand by the Election Commission.
