Bulletproof jackets save lives of CCD personnel in Narowal shootout

Bulletproof jackets worn by the Crime Control Department (CCD) personnel saved their lives when they were fired at by drug dealers in Narowal, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.

According to reports, drug dealers opened fire at the CCD personnel.

The personnel retaliated and arrested three drug dealers in an injured condition besides recovering arms, bullets and four kilos of narcotics from them in an encounter.

A case has been registered against the suspects, while those injured were shifted to a hospital.

Three days ago, three criminals involved in cases of motorcycle theft and snatching were arrested in injured condition after two separate encounters with Crime Control Department (CCD) teams in the suburbs of Attock.
