Ishaq Dar discusses regional peace with Egypt foreign minister
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Muhammad Ishaq Dar spoke late last night with Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Saturday.
The two leaders discussed the ongoing diplomatic efforts being facilitated by Pakistan, and underscored the importance of dialogue and diplomacy.
They emphasized the importance of sustained engagement to advance peace and stability in the region and beyond.
It may be mentioned here that the phone call took place as Iran’s Foreign Minister Seyed Abbas Araghchi landed in Islamabad with reports saying carrying new proposals to de-escalate the situation in the Middle East.
