Saba Faisal’s funny mood can’t stop ongoing online debate about women
Saba Faisal is again gaining attention over her controversial views on women.
The veteran actress shared an Instagram post about her dress and the success of a podcast appearance, but social media users quickly shifted focus back to her recent statements.
Saba Faisal captioned the post by thanking fans for following her advice, resharing her clips, and giving viewership to Adnan Faisal’s podcast.
She also added laughing emojis, showing she was in a lighthearted mood, and thanked a clothing brand for her outfit.
In the post, the senior actress looked graceful in a rich purple traditional dress featuring elegant embroidery.
However, the mood quickly changed in comments sections and fan pages, where users brought up her podcast remarks about marriage, loyalty, daughters-in-law, and household help.
During one discussion, Saba Faisal suggested that women should not panic too much over a husband’s unfaithfulness, saying a man may wander but often returns home.

Actress Hira Soomro responded soon after by questioning whether society would accept the same excuse from women.

Another actress, Hira Khan, also entered the conversation in her own style. She shared a dance picture with her husband and used a caption many felt was an indirect response to Saba Faisal’s comments about modern women dancing on social media instead of caring for in-laws.
In another clip from the interview, Saba Faisal remarked that household help can either become a peacemaker or a troublemaker in the home, promoting users to respond that domestic workers are human beings too and should be treated fairly.
A clip shared by Galaxy Lollywood also circulated online, in which Saba narrated a story involving her husband and a receptionist who reportedly became upset after learning he was married.
These statements triggered strong backlash online, with many viewers calling the advice outdated and unfair.
Some users mocked the situation, while others said public platforms should be used more responsibly.

A few joked that whenever certain senior stars appear in interviews, controversy soon follows. Some even compared the situation to how Firdous Jamal often makes headlines after bold opinions.

One user wrote that Saba herself dances, while her daughter and daughter-in-law do the same.

Another commented, “Why does she want everyone to criticize her?”

A third humorously added that if Saba were not around, people would not know how to live life.

Despite the backlash, Saba Faisal remains one of Pakistan’s most recognized television personalities. She first gained fame as a news anchor before moving into acting.
Later, she built a powerful second career in dramas, often portraying strict mothers, emotional family elders, and strong matriarchs. She has appeared in many hit serials including blockbuster Humsafar.
