The bag-packed dead body of a 12-year-old girl was found in a garbage dump in the Sadar area of Karachi, reported the 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to the police, the girl's identity has not yet been identified. The body of the girl has been shifted to Jinnah Hospital for a post-mortem.

In this regard, SP Sadar Majida said that there are no marks of violence on the girl's body.

Whether the girl was raped or not will be known after the post-mortem, SP Sadar said.

Meanwhile, a 13-year-old boy drowned in the lake of a local dam in Attock.

According to police, the body of 13-year-old Hashim has been retrieved from the local dam after a search in Bisal village of Jund Tehsil.

Police said Hashim had been missing since the previous day and did not return home from school.

In the presence of the police, the local people retrieved the body from the dam and handed it over to the family.
