Punjab govt decides to establish PHA in all districts of province

The Punjab government has decided to establish the Parks and Horticulture Authority (PHA) in all districts of the province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

Presiding over the administrative affairs review meeting, Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz instructed the construction and ensured continuous maintenance of green belts along and between roads.

Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif directed the administration to focus more on the beautification of cities and ordered the planting of more trees.

The Chief Minister ordered that street lights be functional in all cities.

The cleanliness of every street and neighbourhood in cities and villages should be ensured, Maryam Nawaz directed.

People should see the clear difference between cleanliness and improvement in other matters, Maryam Nawaz further directed.

In the meeting, DC Rahim Yar Khan informed the Chief Minister about artificial intelligence software to evaluate the implementation of "KPI".

Special Assistant Rashid Nasrullah, Chief Secretary Zahid Akhtar Zaman, Home Secretary Noor Ul Amin Mengal, IG Police, Commissioner, RPOs, and other officials attended the meeting.
