Deepika Padukone’s fierce reaction to man filming daughter Dua goes viral
Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh have always been protective of their daughter Dua Padukone Singh, keeping her away from media glare despite living in the spotlight themselves.
But a recent incident at Mumbai International Airport has once again highlighted the challenges celebrities face in safeguarding their children’s privacy.
A video surfaced online over the weekend showing Deepika being ferried across the airport on a buggy with baby Dua on her lap.
The clip, which captured Dua’s face clearly, was recorded without the family’s permission and quickly went viral.
In the footage, Deepika can be seen giving a visibly angry death stare to the person holding the phone after realising her daughter was being filmed.
The actress’s reaction has sparked widespread debate on social media.
While some pages circulated the clip to grab attention, a large number of users condemned the act and sided with the couple.
One user wrote: “Deepika specifically said she doesn’t want her child’s face out there and yet a so-called ‘fan’ filmed it anyway. You could clearly see she was unhappy, but still the video was shared. Disgusting.”

Another fan commented: “Earlier it was with Virushka and now DeepVeer. Don’t you all have morals and ethics? If the parents don’t want their child’s face revealed, people should respect that.”
This is not the first time Deepika and Ranveer have had to address the issue of privacy.
When the couple first introduced their daughter to the world on November 1, 2024, they chose to do so on their own terms.
In a collaborative Instagram post, Deepika shared a tender picture of Dua’s tiny feet in a matching red outfit, revealing her daughter’s name to fans for the first time.
In an earlier interview, Deepika had also spoken about her difficult pregnancy, revealing she endured immense physical pain during the final trimester. Despite the challenges, she said the arrival of Dua was the greatest joy of her life.
The resurfaced airport video has reignited discussions about ethical boundaries in celebrity culture, with many urging fans and paparazzi to respect the wishes of parents.
As Deepika’s stern glare showed, the actress is not willing to compromise when it comes to protecting her child’s privacy.
