Health Ministry notifies major transfers and postings of drug inspectors

The Federal Ministry of National Health Services has issued a formal notification regarding the transfers and postings of federal drug inspectors across major cities, 24NewsHD TV reported on Monday.  

According to the notification, Deputy Director Ziaullah has been appointed as Federal Inspector of Drug-I in Islamabad, while Tahreen Sarah has been assigned the charge of Federal Inspector of Drug-II in the capital.

In Peshawar, Adnan Shahidullah is posted as Federal Inspector of Drug-I, and Shahid Nawaz has been given the charge of Federal Inspector of Drug-II.

In Lahore, Maham Misbah will serve as Federal Inspector of Drug-I, and Muhammad Umar has been appointed as Federal Inspector of Drug-II.

Similarly, in Karachi, Tahir Waqas has been assigned the charge of Federal Inspector of Drug-I, while Dr. Owais Ahmed has been appointed as Federal Inspector of Drug-II.

The ministry also announced the cancellation of appointments of eight Federal Drug Inspectors.

These include Deputy Directors in Peshawar, Faisal Shehzad and Ateeq ul Bari; Deputy Directors in Lahore, Abdul Rasheed Sheikh and Ayesha Irfan; and Additional Directors in Karachi, Abdul Rauf Sheikh and Shoaib Ahmed.

The postings of Deputy Director Hakeem Masood in Karachi and Deputy Director Khalid Mehmood in Islamabad have also been revoked.
