Pakistan warns India for violating Indus Water Treaty
Pakistan has warned India for not following the Indus Water Treaty, as New Delhi has conveyed flood warning information to Pakistan through diplomatic sources instead of conveying this message to Indus Water Commission, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel.
Pakistan’s Foreign Office spokesperson Shafqat Ali Khan in a press statement, stressed that India must fully implement all provisions of the agreement.
Shafqat Ali Khan made it clear that India's declared policy of unilaterally suspending the agreement is a serious violation of international law.
The FO Spokesperson said India’s move could have extremely negative effects on peace and stability in South Asia.
