Two cops caught red-handed stealing iron from Lahore’s Peco factory

Two policemen caught red-handed stealing iron from Peco factory in Lahore, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Tuesday.

According to police sources, a case was registered against police officials Waqar Younis and Khalil Ahmed at the Industrial Area Police Station, on the complaint of ASI Nadeem Akhtar.

Both officials who were caught were posted at the Industrial Area Police Station. 

The officials were arrested while stealing iron from Peco factory. 

Police said 60 kg of iron was recovered from the possession of both officials. 

A case was registered against the officials under the provisions of theft and breach of authority and further investigation is underway.

The officials had been stealing iron for a long time and selling it to junkyards. 

Search for their accomplices is also ongoing.
